Branding a California olive oil with community in mind
The founders of aficio22 had a premium product they were excited about and a unique mission focused on giving back to the community. What they were missing was a name and brand to bring that vision to life.
In collaboration with web designer (also: my favorite sister) Carla Salehian, we crafted a visual identity from the ground up.
Modern, with a hand-drawn twist
Sleek and minimal: that aesthetic was the north start to which all elements of the aficio22 brand aligned. And yet, with a commitment to California communities and a give-back mission, it felt important to inject some humanity into the brand's visuals. Using the stages of olive maturation as inspiration, I created a set of hand-drawn words and illustrations for use on the brand's packaging, new site and supplemental collateral.
